What should be considered in the design of medium and heavy plate raw materials?
(1) The size and performance of the finished steel plate must meet the use requirements;
(2) Give full play to the process conditions and equipment capacity of steel-making workshop and thick plate workshop;
(3) The steel plate produced has the lowest cost.
Its length may be double, three or more times the required length. Cut off according to the required length before charging. The heating temperature of heating carbon and low alloy structural steel can be determined by iron carbon balance diagram. The heating temperature of low alloy steel is mainly determined according to the carbon content. For high alloy steel, not only the photographic diagram, but also the plastic diagram, deformation resistance curve and metallographic structure should be considered. The minimum heating temperature of steel should be determined by the final rolling temperature and taking into account the heat loss of billet discharging and rolling process.
